The lean-to metal carport shelters you as you search for your house keys or collect your belongings. The extra space this type of structure can provide is the reason why it is a popular metal structure.
A metal lean-to carport is commonly used to add a covered walkway space to the outside of a metal building. If you want to be able to come and go without being exposed to bad weather, it’s an ideal option.
Customers can place a custom carport or lean-to next to a metal garage for additional shade and covering of large farm equipment, protection from harsh weather, and works with all types of vehicles.
Lean-to’s can be ordered with vertical roofs, boxed-eave roofs, or classical roofs with rounded edges.
The classical roofs are cost-effective and are perfect if you need a simple structure to protect your investments.

Durable and long-lasting metal materials
Lean-to metal carports are an affordable and dependable way to protect your vehicles and belongings from the elements. At the core of its design is the use of durable and long-lasting metal materials. Our metal carports are constructed with galvanized steel that is designed to withstand wind and rain. The steel is also coated with a special coating that helps protect it from rust and corrosion. Additionally, the steel is also treated with a special primer to help it keep its color over time. With proper maintenance and care, our metal carports will provide you with years of protection and peace of mind.
Lean-to metal carports offer great versatility and customization options for a variety of uses. The structures can be used to protect a car, boat, RV, or other vehicles, or they can be used to store other items such as furniture, tools, and supplies. With the right color scheme, they also make great outdoor entertaining areas. Many features can be customized, such as the size, shape, and height of the structure, the type of roofing, and the type of insulation used. You can also choose the type of cover and the number of panels needed. This makes lean-to metal carports a great choice for homeowners who want to create a space that can be used for various purposes. Lean-tos over 12′ in leg height may need heavy equipment to install and is an additional charge.
Style of roofs
Lean-to metal carports come in two distinct styles of roof: regular or boxed eave. The regular roof has horizontal roof panels and is the most economical option. The boxed eave style has A-frame roof panels and is a great choice if you want your carport to blend in with the architecture of your existing home. Both styles are characterized by their durable galvanized steel construction and are designed to withstand high winds and snow loads.
Cost-effective
One of the main benefits of lean-to metal carports is that they are cost-effective. Lean-to carports are relatively simple structures and therefore require less material, labor, and time to construct, allowing customers to save on overall costs. Additionally, they can be easily customized to fit any budget, depending on the size, materials, and features you choose. Furthermore, metal carports are very durable and require little maintenance, meaning the initial cost is all you need to pay for a long time.
Can single slope freestanding lean-to carports be attached to a house?
Unfortunately, our installers can’t attach the carport directly to a house. There is a chance that the house can be damaged and in most cases, it won’t be able to be permitted and isn’t up to code. The lean-to can be pushed close to the house. If you have purchased a metal building or carport from us, we can attach it to it directly. Please contact us for more information about attaching a lean-to to an existing building.
If you put a lean-to next a wall with windows, you may need headers to remove the bottom base-rail to prevent a bar from blocking an exit in case of emergencies.
Lean-to’s can not be attached to the building. they can be pushed up as close as possible under the gutter. Check with your local building codes to make sure this is allowed.
