Carport Uses-Cases
You can utilize your metal building for a variety of purposes, such as an RV carport, a metal barn, or dedicated storage buildings. It can be used to store farm equipment and offer ample storage space. Additionally, these versatile structures can function as 2-car garages or serve as carport covers. They are suitable for warehouses, horse barns, single-car carports, and even as protective covers for boats. You can also store tractors, create man caves, convert barns into workshops, design she-sheds, and more—truly anything you can imagine! Many customers have even leveraged their buildings to launch their very own businesses and entrepreneurial endeavors.
Carport Roof Styles
Roofs come in standard/regular style (shell-like wrap around roof), A-frame style (with extra hat channels for support), and regular boxed-eave style (horizontal lines run front to back.).
You can add a single slope lean-to or add extra width to make it a double carport that can cover 2 cars. Single slope carports have 1 side of the roof and can be pushed up next to an existing building.
The Benefits of a Metal Carport
Every steel carport and metal garage unit is built to protect against harsh weather conditions, extreme weather elements, winds, heavy snow, mother nature in general, and superior strength and durability. Please check your county for the load requirements if you live in a snow region.
Commercial steel buildings and residential buildings may need a building permit depending on their location and local code enforcement and requirements. Each building price doesn’t include final taxes or additional charges such as trusses and mobile home anchors.
