Manufacturer Warranty Overview

Product and installation warranties are issued and honored by the manufacturer under its current written warranty terms. Coverage depends on frame gauge, installation conditions, product configuration, maintenance, and exclusions. Confirm the warranty supplied with your order before purchasing.

1. 20-Year Rust-Through Warranty (12-Gauge)

12-gauge galvanized steel framing comes with a 20-year limited warranty against rust-through on the frame.

• Coverage: Protects against structural failure caused by corrosion of the steel tubing.
• Maintenance: To keep the warranty active, the building must be kept free of debris and standing water against the base rails.

2. 14-Gauge Coverage

Do not assume that the 20-year rust-through warranty applies to 14-gauge framing. Any corrosion or workmanship coverage for a 14-gauge structure must be confirmed in the current signed purchase order and manufacturer warranty terms.

3. Workmanship Coverage

The installation provider manages applicable workmanship coverage for its installation crews. Current purchase-order terms should be reviewed for the coverage period, exclusions, and notice deadlines.

• Coverage: Protects against leaks, loose panels, or alignment issues caused by the installation process.
• Response: The installation provider reviews workmanship claims and determines inspection, repair, and coverage under its current written warranty terms.

4. Manufacturer Exclusions

Warranties may be voided if:

• The building is modified by the customer (cutting legs, adding non-factory components).
• The site is not level within 3 inches.
• Abnormal environmental conditions (e.g., direct salt spray or chemical exposure) are present without prior disclosure.

5. How to File a Claim

If you believe your structure has a warranty-eligible defect:

1. Documentation: Take clear photos of the issue.
2. Prompt Notice: Installation-related issues may have a short written notice deadline. Do not begin repairs before the manufacturer has had a reasonable opportunity to inspect the claim.

4. Manufacturer Review: The manufacturer reviews warranty eligibility and determines the inspection or service response under its written terms.
