Wide-Span Commercial & Agricultural Buildings
Our wide-span structures, ranging from 32' to 60' wide, are designed for projects that need open covered space without interior support columns. Common uses include equipment storage, fleet parking, agricultural cover, and commercial staging.
1. Truss and Span Specification
Wide-span buildings use a frame designed for the selected span and configuration. Ask for the drawing and available calculations that identify the truss or frame, connections, supports, and design criteria for the project.
- 32' - 60' Widths: Can accommodate multiple full-size tractors, combines, or industrial machinery.
- Clear Span: No interior posts means 100% usable floor space.
2. Frame and Bracing Details
Member sizes, steel gauge, trusses, and bracing depend on the selected building and project design. A gauge label alone does not establish capacity. Higher-load designs may call for substantially more material, heavier framing, closer spacing, added bracing, upgraded anchors or foundation details, and site-specific plans and calculations.
